Thou bear Witness!
Acts 23:11

* God wants us to be a witness for Him. Witness in the Greek means to be a witness, i.e. testify (literally or figuratively):--charge, give (evidence), bear record, have (obtain, of) good (honest) report, be well reported of, testify, give (have) testimony, (be, bear, give, obtain) witness. Let us look to the scriptures to see what it means to be a witness.

1. W=Win Souls; Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

2. I=Influence; Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

3. T=Testimony; 1 Corinthians 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

4. N=No lies; Proverbs 12:17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.

5. E=Evidence; Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

6. S=Spectator; 2 Corinthians 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

7. S=Stand; Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Conclusion: Are you a witness for the Lord? Do you tell others what you have witnessed the Lord do in your life?
