The Blood in the Tabernacle
* The Book of Leviticus gives us the details of the walk, worship, and service of the people. Here God speaks to His people out of the Tabernacle. But before God speaks or before one can walk, worship, and serve, the blood has to be applied. The blood is all over and in the Tabernacle. Blood is mentioned 88 times in 66 verse in the book of Leviticus. Let us look to see where the Blood is.
1.
Door; 1:5 And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.A. the door is the entrance of the Tabernacle, and to get in you have to go by the blood
B. Jesus said he was the door, and the door shed the blood

Alter; 1:11 And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.4:7 And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.A. the blood is an invitation to all
B. the blood is the only way we can communicate with God, can’t offer a prayer without the blood.
4:30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
C. the horn was a symbol of power and strength
3. Veil; 4:6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the veil of the sanctuary.
A. Behind the veil was the most holy place, this speaks of a close relationship and personal fellowship with God.
B. the only way to God is though the veil covered with blood
4. Mercy Seat; 16:14 And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
A. the blood was between the priest and God, this is where God meets with the priest
B. without the blood there is no mercy
5. Priest; 8:24 And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.
A. the right ear speaks of what we hear. God
B. the right thumb speaks of our service. To God
C. the right big toe speaks of our walk. For God
Conclusion: The blood was all in and through the Tabernacle. Where is the blood at in your life. Are you covered? Has the blood been applied?
