The Crooked shall be made Straight
* Here in these verses we see the ministry of John the Baptist. His message was in vs. 3, a message of repentance for the remission of sins. But in vs. 5 is an explanation of how God deals. I want us to focus on “the crooked shall be made straight.” Crooked means not straight or out of shape. I’m sure this past year, some may have gotten bent out of shape over some things, or some wasn’t as straight as they could have been. Let’s look to some things we need to make straight this new year. We need to pray to God.

Conclusion: Ask the Lord to straighten the crooked things in your life, and get some things straight for this New Year coming for the Lord.
