Can God count on you to be……..
1 Timothy 6:1-7

* We count on God for a lot of things in our lives, and we know God will never fail us, for He is faithful. But have you ever thought about can God count on us? If it was left up to you for some things would it get done, like turn on the lights for service, carry out the trash, clean the church, watch the little ones in the nursery, teach a Sunday school class, unlock the church, mow the lawn, stock supplies, sing in the choir, prepare the bulletins, greet people at the door, give a tithe, prepare a message, go soul winning, bring people to church, or just be shoulder for people to lean on. If one or some of these things were left up to you only to get done, would it? Can God count on you to be….???

1. Faithful; 1 Corinthians 4:2

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
faithful here means objectively, trustworthy; subjectively, trustful:--believe(-ing, -r), faithful(-ly), sure, true

2. Fervent; James 5:16

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
fervent means to be active, efficient:--do, (be) effectual (fervent), be mighty in, shew forth self, work (effectually in).

3. Forgiving; Ephesians 4:32

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
forgiving means to grant as a favor, i.e. gratuitously, in kindness, pardon or rescue:--deliver, (frankly) forgive, (freely) give, grant.

4. Forbearing; Ephesians 4:2

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
forbearing means to hold oneself up against, i.e. (figuratively) put up with:--bear with, endure, forbear, suffer.

Conclusion: these words sum up what we should be, so God can count on us to do what ever He has called us to do.
